Case: Libratone needed an assessment of the market potential of a new speaker concept as well as knowledge about how to present a business model to potential customers in Silicon Valley. They brought the first full scale model along, but they did not yet have a prototype of the product.

The innovation centre assisted Libratone in assessing the market potential and business model in relation to the global market. Furthermore, the centre advised on networking, presentation and so forth.

The results speak for themselves. Libratones first investor was convinced to make additional investments into the company and through the networking in Silicon Valley, Libratone established contact with Apple.

Two years later, the innovative wireless speakers were on the shelves in Apple-stores in 130 countries, in Apple’s online store and in leading design shops such as Colette in Paris and Giorgio Armani’s istuff in Milan.
